Fumiko Hoeft: Dr. Hoeft is one of the world’s leading experts on the neurobiology of reading and has worked with families and schools across the world to improve educational practice based on data from neuroimaging studies. She is a member of the board of directors of IDA. She is the principal investigator for the APPRISE Project. She developed the idea for the project along with colleagues at UCSF and the technology company Curious Learning and is leading all phases of implementation.
