Margie is the founder and president of Literacy How, an organization that provides professional development opportunities for teachers. She is a research affiliate at Haskins Laboratories and founded the Anne E. Fowler Foundation that supports scholarships for teachers in reading and language development. Margie is also a Certified Academic Language Therapist, the former president of the CT Branch of the International Dyslexia Society, and a board member of the Dyslexia Society of CT. She is also a member of IDA’s Perspectives Parent/Practitioner Publications Committee.
