Dr. Haynes received his doctorate from Harvard, served as teacher, Research Coordinator and Director of Speech-Language Services at the Landmark School, pioneered language-based curricula for children with LLD. A Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at MGH-IHP, he has been Principal or Co-PI on >$4,000,000 dollars of grants. His longterm interests: diagnosis and treatment of language and learning difficulties. Former VP of IDA's Board, he received IDA's Margaret Rawson Lifetime Achievement Award. His most recent publication is "From Talking to Writing: Strategies for Scaffolding Narrative and Expository Expression", published by Landmark Outreach Publications in 2018.
