Jessica Turtura, Ph.D., is a Research Associate at the Center on Teaching and Learning in the College of Education in the University of Oregon. She is the co-lead of dissemination for the National Center on Improving Literacy (NCIL). Dr. Turtura’s research focuses on early reading and math intervention strategies and materials, factors predicting response to intervention, and schoolwide multi-tiered models of support. She manages several federally-funded research grants, including several large-scale efficacy trials to test intervention approaches for struggling learners.
