Sherry Mee Bell Ph.D.

Dr. Sherry Mee Bell is a Professor and Department Head at the University of Tennessee and an experienced special educator and psychologist whose scholarship interests include reading assessment and instruction, education of gifted/SLD students, and teacher education. Dr. Bell has made numerous presentations and authored many scholarly articles in such journals as Annals of Dyslexia and Journal of Learning Disabilities. She is co-author of The Handbook of Reading Assessment (2008; 2016), Assessment of Reading Instructional Knowledge-Adults (2012) and the Tests of Dyslexia currently in standardization by Western Psychological Services.
