Emily Farris, Tennessee Center for the Study and Treatment of Dyslexia’s Assistant Director for Research, completed her Ph.D. in experimental psychology at UTA, and her postdoctoral fellowship at UCSF with Dr. Fumiko Hoeft. Her research enhances our understanding of reading difficulties with the ultimate goal of improving our ability to identify individuals and develop treatment programs that are tailored to suit the individual’s needs in order to enhance every person’s ability to learn to read.
