Sarah Sayko, M.Ed., is a Senior Research Associate at RMC Research Corporation in Arlington, VA. She is the Deputy Director and parent and Parent strand leader for the National Center on Improving Literacy (NCIL). Sarah was a literacy content specialist for the Center on Instruction and a technical assistance provider with the National Reading Technical Assistance Center (NRTAC) and its predecessor, the National Center for Reading First Technical Assistance (NCRFTA). In these capacities, she designed professional learning experiences and resources for literacy leaders and practitioners in evidence-based literacy practices and presented extensively on how to implement and sustain these practices in schools to regional service agency staff, district and school administrators, and instructional coaches. She was a reading coach and literacy specialist in two school districts and is a certified K-12 reading specialist in Massachusetts.
