The traditional study skills of organization, note-taking, and test prep remain vital for student success, but the means have changed dramatically. Digital tools, from assistive technology to the latest apps, offer students a bewildering array of choices with options that often actually distract students from the tasks that they were designed to support. This session shows how to scaffold proven approaches to teaching study skills with tech tools that truly support learning. Examples will be drawn from the presenter’s 30+ years of working with college students with learning disabilities.
