Description
The assessment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) should be comprehensive, including information from family history, medical and developmental backgrounds, parent and teacher ratings, psychological functioning, and objective measurements of attentional abilities. In this session, specific information about the necessary components involved in evaluating ADHD will be provided and a detailed description of the administration, results, and interpretation of a specific continuous performance test: the Test of Variables of Attention (TOVA).
