SU6 - Multisensory Math: Catching Up to Keep Up-What Intervention in Mathematics Should Look Like

Nov 10, 2019 8:30am ‐ Nov 10, 2019 9:30am

Standard: $20.00

Description

Everyone wants a cookbook, a road map, a plan; yet, there is no one-size-fits-all solution for meeting most struggling student’s needs. This presentation will focus on the content and strategies which must be part of any intervention program for students with dyslexia or related learning challenges. Unlike literacy instruction which is built on incremental structural components, math instruction is built on a hierarchy of concepts. Follow the science and come learn how to fill the gaps while strengthening the “math muscle.”
