Participants learn in simulations how to implement research-evidenced multisensory structured metacognitive (MSML) practices to improve writing skills of native and non-native speakers with dyslexia or related disabilities in Grades 2–12. Narrative and expository writing is explored in various hands-on tasks addressing challenges of sentence, paragraph, and whole-text structures . Assessment practices for classroom use are included. Adaptations for non-native speakers and a resource packet allow for seamless integration of writing strategies.
