Description

This presentation presents the enhancements in the Montessori medical-scientific pedagogy for young children at risk for learning differences. Dr. Montessori worked first with children with varying disabilities and created her method while working with other researchers, such as Jean Piaget. Each were attempting to answer the educational question: How to you help a child who is developing atypically to develop more typical skills? Recent research on her work has shown highly positive results with typical and atypically developing children.
