Description
This hands-on session focuses on the direct link between reading success and critical phonological awareness instruction in all grade levels, K–12. The presenter reviews the continuum of skills for phonological awareness that should be included in all reading curriculums and discusses techniques and strategies that teach these critical skills through mini lessons. Information is also given that shows how phonological awareness, given in conjunction with phonics instruction, can lead to building level-reading success for all of your students!
