2019 Reading, Literacy & Learning Virtual Conference

F26 - Knowledge for All

Nov 8, 2019 2:15pm ‐ Nov 8, 2019 3:45pm

Standard: $20.00

Description

This panel of education experts will explore why explicit phonics instruction paired with access to rich content is especially critical for dyslexic learners, and how to identify and utilize instructional materials that support dyslexic learners.

Join a diverse panel— an AOGPE fellow, CEO, author, and journalist—as they explore specific classroom content and strategies that ensure dyslexic students are learning to read and reading to learn. By supporting all students' access to knowledge-rich texts, we can ignite the curiosity of every learner.

Lynne Munson, Robert Pondiscio, Cynthia Davis, and Natalie Wexler have no relevant financial or nonfinancial relationships to disclose.
