Description
Learn evidence-based practices to explicitly teach writing in systematic, sequential, highly structured and fun ways. Teach easy to recall, transferrable strategies, but in ways that prepare students to independently take themselves through using the writing process, without depending adult direction as they do so. Explicitly teach students how to use their inner language to direct themselves cognitively, and emotionally: “I can do this. I’ll use strategies to organize my ideas, and to follow steps of plan, organize, write, edit, then revise.”
