Change is difficult for many people, but for students with disabilities, the transition from high school to higher education can be overwhelming. Students with disabilities may face challenges in seeking accommodations in college and on high-stakes tests. Laws governing K–12 and higher education differ; students should understand the impact that these differences have on their rights/responsibilities. During this presentation, ETS representatives provide insight into the differences in the laws, strategies for successful transition, and documentation requirements.
